Kai Rydman oli aikoinaan käpylän ala-asteella musiikinmaiakkana.
Yksi hänen oppilaansa kuoli jäätyään auton alle koulun edessä.
Kai Rydman otti  asian niin raskaasti, että muutti pois koko Helsingistä (valkeakoselle) mutta teki ennen sitä tämän kappaleen kuolleen tytön muistolle.
