Wiki:  Pesäpallon kehitti Lauri "Tahko" Pihkala 1910-luvulla. Pesäpalloa pelataan myös jonkin verran Ruotsissa, Saksassa, Virossa, Japanissa, Australiassa, Sveitsissä, Englannissa ja myös Kanadassa. Pesäpallo on Suomen kansallispeli.
