Altavista oli ennen Googlen nousua kyllä yksi parhaista. :jepso:
Ei vieläkään huono, mutta Google on paljon tehokkaampi "perushakujen" kanssa.
Jos taas haluaa välttyä Googlen sensuroinnilta, alltheweb.com on kova sana.

Mie käyttelin altavistaa 90-luvulla kun se oli silloin paras, omasta mielestäni :jepso:

Aika kuluu turhankin nopsaan, olikohan se 94-95 kun internet-yhteys kotiin tuli, koneessa win 3.10 ja 14400bps modeemi, pitkään tuli sähköposteja tutkittua telnet-yhteydellä ennenkuin graafiset alkoivat yleistyä.. Oli se toista verrattuna nykypäivään, ihanaa muistella menneitä aikoja  :good:

Pitäisiköhän laittaa nostalgian vuoksi tai retroiluhengessä vanha modeemin vinku käynnistysääneksi  :lach:
